Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of Modo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Last updated: October 26, 2026.

Who we are

Modo is provided by Helpful Intelligence (Peter Van Dijck, Calle Circon 5, Madrid, Spain). Contact: hello@modo.helpfulintelligence.co.

The service

Modo is video hosting for businesses: you upload videos, and Modo gives you a player, an embed code and share links. Videos are processed and stored by Cloudflare. It is for business use. The service changes over time, and features may be added, changed or removed.

No warranty, no guarantees

Modo is provided as is and as available, with no warranty and no guarantees of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that data will not be lost, or that it will fit your purpose.

We do not guarantee any result from using Modo. This includes video availability, playback quality, viewing numbers and the accuracy of usage figures.

You are responsible for checking what you publish and what an AI assistant does in your account. Keep your own copies of videos you cannot afford to lose.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for what happens under it. You must be able to enter into these terms on behalf of your business.

Your data

You own the data you put into Modo. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service. You are responsible for having the right to use the data you enter, including any people who appear in your videos. See the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use Modo to host anything illegal, anything you do not have the right to share, or content that harasses or harms others. Do not attack or overload the service. We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Trial, billing and cancellation

Plans have a 15-day free trial and are then billed monthly through Stripe. Prices include VAT. Minutes streamed above your plan are billed at the published overage rate. You can cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Prices may change; we will tell you in advance.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Modo at any time. We can suspend or end an account that breaks these terms. If we end the service, we will give notice and a way to export your data where we can.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account holders by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
