Common questions
Who is Modo for?
Businesses with a modest amount of video and modest traffic: product demos in docs, a hero video on a landing page, a small course library, client videos. It is a good fit if you already work with an AI agent such as Claude.
Where are my videos stored and streamed from?
Modo is built on Cloudflare Stream. Cloudflare encodes your videos, stores them, streams them with adaptive bitrate from its global network, and provides the player.
Can I really upload from my AI agent?
Yes. Connect Claude or another MCP client to Modo, and ask it to upload a file on your machine or import one from a URL. It can also list videos, make one private, and show your usage. See the docs for how the upload works.
Is there a free plan?
No. Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial, with a card up front.
What happens if more people watch than my plan includes?
Extra minutes streamed cost $2 per 1,000 minutes. There is no bandwidth "fair use" clause, and no per-seat pricing.
Are prices including VAT?
Yes. Prices are in US dollars, per month, and include VAT.
