Using Modo
Folders
Organise a larger library into folders and subfolders, from the app or through your AI agent.
Folders are optional. A video sits in one folder, or at the top level of your library if you don't file it.
Two levels
A folder at the top level can hold videos and subfolders. A subfolder holds videos only. For example: a "Clients" folder with a subfolder per client, or a "Product" folder with "Demos" and "Webinars" inside.
Filing videos
- When you upload: choose a folder in the upload dialog. Uploading from inside a folder picks that folder for you.
- Afterwards: open the video and pick a folder in the Folder box, or "No folder" to move it back to the top level.
Moving a video between folders doesn't change its share link or embed code.
Renaming and deleting
Open a folder and use the menu next to its name to rename or delete it. Deleting a folder also deletes its subfolders, but never the videos: the videos inside move to the top level.
Through your AI agent
Your agent can do all of this too. It sees your folders with list_folders, manages them with create_folder, update_folder and delete_folder, and files a video as it uploads it, or moves it later with update_video. You can say things like:
- "Upload ~/Desktop/acme-kickoff.mp4 into Clients / Acme."
- "Make a folder for each client and file my videos into them."
- "What's in the Webinars folder?"
